Serving Adults with Developmental Disabilities

EARC provides adults with developmental disabilities the support they need to lead successful lives.

Our employment and residential services empower our clients to live more independently.

Who We Are

Our name, Employment And Residential Centers (EARC), is reflective of the means to meeting our mission: to provide a better quality of life and encourage greater independence to individuals with developmental disabilities.

This is accomplished by providing programs for employment and training and a continuum of residential services to meet the individual needs of those with developmental and cognitive challenges. EARC is more than a place to work. It is more than a home. It is a place to succeed.

What started out as a way to increase public awareness and education about developmental disabilities, has become an organization that provides employment and residential services to adults living with developmental disabilities.

We achieve our mission by offering quality residential services, through our Intermediate Care Facility, Group Homes, Daily Living Support Homes and Assisted Living Programs. Our employment service programs through The Trails Sheltered Workshop, Enclaves, and Community Integrated Employment allow clients to receive valuable work experience.

What We Do

At EARC we stive to understand individual needs of each client. We provide Assisted Living services, operate 6 Daily Living Support (DLS) Homes and 2 Group Homes in Edmond. We also provide workshops which allow individuals to learn work skills and have a Community Integrated Employment program.

— Retail Stores

Our thrift stores are a valuable resource for budget friendly shopping in the Edmond and Guthrie areas.

Our clients work at the stores learning skills in retail, customer service and organization. Profits from the thrift stores stay in our community and fund EARC programs. In addition, any donations to EARC stores stay in the local community as well to support services.
